The William Valentine Memorial Auditorium
The auditorium is named after the late Dearborn High School speech and drama teacher William Valentine who taught at DHS from 1961 to 1967 and was quite a successful debate and forensics teacher while simultaneously running the drama program. He died in 1969.
Some of the theater's features include:
A seating capacity of 702 seats.
Lighting - The theater originally had space for about 6 lights located in alcoves placed in the ceiling. Since then it has been retro-fitted with 3 sets of tormenter bars on the side of the theater.
Sound - The theater usually has wireless personal lavaleer microphones. The theater is also equipped with cardiod microphones hanging above the stage.
